Life Global was launched in 2018 in presence of leading dignitaries in New Jersey, USA with the aim to support & enhance social and philanthropic services in USA, India and across the world, with focus on sustainable partnerships with likeminded charities in the USA and abroad. Life Global has since then expanded, with chapters in California & Texas, and is now extending to other US states.

Life Global is promoted by global friends of Project 'Life', the renowned nonprofit in India engaged in humanitarian service since 1978, fostering the commendable aim to serve humanity by bringing together inspired families, friends and businesses. Life Global shares the philanthropic objective of bringing a positive change in healthcare, education, women empowerment, environment protection,Thalassaemia Prevention and blood banking by forming a sustainable partner charities network across geo-borders.

Project 'Life' India, dedicated to supporting and sustaining these objectives is Life Global’s preferred partner charity for channelizing the goals and shaping the projects of Life Global through collaborative partnership interventions in India.

In concurrence, landmark events for Women Empowerment were organized in 2019 at New Jersey Connecticut, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Jose by Life Global to enhance this social service initiative by Project ‘Life’ India.

Our Programs

Life Global USA Education Program

Life Global’s partner charity Project ‘Life’ initiated Life Education Centre (LEC) in 2000 with a view to fostering excellence in primary education. The initiative covers restructuring damaged & deteriorated school buildings in rural interiors needing reformation and transforms them to new, modern, state-of the- art primary school in the first phase. In second phase, schools are delivered educational aid, teachers’ training programs, scholarships and extended support for inclusive development of students, introducing smart classrooms and providing tablets and Wi-Fi capability for competitive and contemporary learning experience for children of rural areas helping them to move forward to higher education with ease. The initiative also includes talent hunt programmes, science-on-wheel project, sports and cultural events. Life Global supports funding the Primary School Development Programme of Life Education Centre of Project ’Life’ which has achieved development of 108 schools by end 2023 with a track record of delivering a new school every 75 days since the project inception in 2001. The 108 schools benefit over 32000 students every year and will continue the benefit for next five decades. The reformation target is now raised to 125 schools from earlier goal of 121. This programme is in conjunction with the Primary Education Department of Government of Gujarat, India and the schools are dedicated to people and handed over to the government for governance.

Life Global USA Women Empowerment Program

Life Global’s partner charity Project “Life’ initiated Life Women Empowerment Centre (LWEC) in 2008 with a vision to transform lives of less privileged women & widows living below poverty line, providing hands on training for vocational skills such as sewing, embroidery, catering, beauty parlour practice and computer operations, substantiated with free of cost trade equipment and kits for the beneficiaries. Women empowerment initiative strives to improve human & social capital through economic freedom for less privileged women in villages and urban slums of Gujarat, helping them to become financially self-reliant, socially respectable and significant contributors to the welfare of their family, affording better access to health and education of their children. Beneficiaries are given supplementary training in self-defense, gender equality, banking, budgeting & finance and are further supported with market linkages, leading them to productive employment. LWEC have successfully trained 11,000 women by end 2023. Life Global USA support will significantly contribute to achieving their target of empowering 15,000 women by 2025.

Life Global USA Thalassemia Program

Life Global is actively promoting the mission of eradicating Thalassaemia a deadly disease from India and Globe. This objective is carried under Life Thalassaemia Prevention Centre which is a core intervention of Project Life, India. Life Thalassaemia Prevention Centre (LTPC) was established in the year 1991. Since inception LTPC has conceptualized several initiatives to prevent the spread of Thalassaemia. Awareness is the key to prevention and we have organized numerous educational sessions, awareness drive and did Thalassaemia screening test to prevent the growing prevalence of this deadly disease. We have taken lead in the country and continue to strive towards the goal of Thalassaemia-free society. LTPC organizes regular pre-martial mass, antenatal test, counselling for Thalassaemia Trait / Minor Screening, sensitization lectures, exhibitions, seminars and Continued Medical Education (CME) programmes periodically in rural and urban areas targeting youth of marriageable age. We have skilled technical team which has worked on several research papers and 6 of them are published in national and international reputed scientific journals and also presented in conferences. LTPC has adopted Ghed Bagasara village of Gujarat State as a pilot project to make the village thalassaemia free.

Life Global USA Blood Bank Program

Life Global is supporting the noble activities of life saving cause carried by Project Life, India which is one of the most prominent intervention serving since 1981. Life Blood Centre (formerly known as Rajkot Voluntary Blood Bank & Research Centre) was established on 06th December 1981 and it was the first blood bank in the Saurashtra region.Our aim is to provide high quality safe blood and blood components to needy patients in Saurashtra region of Gujarat state. We remain firmly committed to contribute beyond blood banking by the whole process of voluntary blood collection, testing, storage and distribution of scientifically safe blood and make it available on timely manner to the needy patients. Our work place is equipped with most modern and advanced state-of-the-art technology, well-equipped laboratory, fully computerized database, professional staff and mobile van. Every year more than 12,000 donors are voluntarily donating blood and using state-of-the-art technology. This blood is further separated into blood components which helps in saving lives of more than 30,000 patients in the region. Today, Life Blood Centre (LBC) is considered as one of the most reliable blood banks, having touched hundreds of thousands of lives.
